IMTech researcher Jezabel Curbelo Hernández among the winners of the 2025 National Youth Research Awards, which recognise Spanish researchers under 40 with outstanding early career achievements. She received the award in the María Andresa Casamayor category for Mathematics and Information and Communication Technologies. She was honoured for her outstanding work in applied mathematics for geophysics
Professor Jose Muñoz has been appointed director of Institut de Matemàtiques (IMTech) on the 18th of June 2025. He takes on the role of previous director Marc Noy, who has been leading the research institute since its creation in 2020. See more information at UPC press room.
