Prof. Antonio Huerta was invited as a plenary speaker at the World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM) 2026, held in Munich from July 20 to 24.
His lecture, titled «Breaking the Mesh Bottleneck: From Robust Low-Order Schemes to High-Order Immersed Methods», focused on a survey addressing the accuracy of numerical methods for modeling fluid and wave problems, along with recent developments in high-order discontinuous interpolations.
