IMTECH members awarded ICREA Academia distinction

Ramon Codina and Eva Miranda have received the ICREA Academia award for intensifying their research activity. Ramon Codina receives the award for the third time and Eva Miranda for the second time

ICREA Academia is a program from the Catalan government providing funds for top researchers in order to intensify their research activity during 5 years. Ramon Codina, from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, will develop a project on robust reduced models in complex systems. Eva Miranda, from the Department of Mathematics, will work on the interaction between singularities, symmetries and complex phenomena in geometry, dynamics and mathematical physics.
